Hello my name is Lisa Colliss.

I am a 41 year old British woman who in all honesty wants to do and try everything – that being said there are some things I am good at.

First and foremost I am mum to boys (ages 22 and 12 years) that requires me to do general mum stuff but for me this also includes being a step in pancreas for my youngest son who is a Type 1 Diabetic warrior.

Now the professional stuff – I am a qualified Health and Safety professional with over 11 years experience working in the professional industries of Construction, Pharmaceutical and Facilities Management. As part of this industry I have specific skills including auditing, carrying out risk assessments, creating training and creating / writing safety paperwork to meet industry compliance.

I am a professionally trained TV Presenter who trained at 3 Mills Studio in London, key skills include – live presenting, in studio production, working with the public on location, presenting / hosting at events, as well as featuring in professional and social media content.

I am a published children’s book author and illustrator – I introduced ‘Smelly Melly and Stinky Stu’ to the world during the pandemic lock down. My inspiration is the children in my life my niece, nephews and sons, and I wanted to write about things that matter, so my stories are written and delivered in a fun way about naughty twins that are always on a learning journey.

I have a creative side and this has lead me to try many (and I do mean many) things from making chocolate bouquets, fitting hair extensions to producing training videos …. I did tell you I want to do everything!
